The 4014 Project

The 4014 Project aims to host 12 Open Mic nights a year along the Wiltshire / Gloucestershire border, visiting different venues and meeting new people on the way.
Our only rules are: no backing tracks, no drum kits. We always have a small PA system and not much else!
We pride ourselves on being the only dedicated touring Open Mic outfit in our area, so if you're interested in visiting us for a few songs , let us know by emailing jon@4014.co.uk

We know our place in the grand scheme of things...

The 4014 Project was set up to bring live music to places where live music was hard to find, and to encourage more venues to get into the habit of booking bands and singers. We've learnt to hold the idea that there are places in the region with well-established, regular Open Mic nights, and that we shouldn't interfere.
Our place is in the rural area, sandwiched between Swindon, Bath, Chippenham and Stroud... and that's where we should stay.

Venues currently on our visiting list:
GREATFIELD (Riffs); KEMBLE (Tavern); MALMESBURY (Red Bull); MALMESBURY (Rose and Crown); TETBURY (Priory Inn); WOOTTON BASSETT (Phoenex Bar)

So if our take on things isn't enough for you to get your musical fix, here's a list of other known Open Mic's in the area. Help us to keep this up-to-date by emailing changes to jon@4014.co.uk
