This page details the terms and conditions of websites owned and managed by Jon Ponting. When we say 'you' we are referring to all web surfers who visit the site who have no connection with the producers of these pages. By saying 'we' or 'us' we are referring to the people who update these pages. By saying 'I', we refer to Jon Ponting, owner of the sites. All files and images on these websites are protected under UK copyright laws. ©2007. Some links may take you to pages which are not part of the Jon Ponting chain of websites. We are not in control of these pages and therefore will not take responsibility for them. All pages of 4014.co.uk have been made suitable for family viewing. This is a non-profit making website which provides a free service for people, musicians and venue-holders in the Malmesbury and Tetbury area. We respect copyright legislation and do not believe the web should be used as a loophole to plagiarize. That said, you may find logos being used on this site without permission from the rightful owners. In all cases we are publicizing either the band or venue concerned for free, and believe this can be regarded as of Public Interest in line with the literature within UK Copyright and Intellectual Property Right legislation. If you're not happy with being mentioned, submit an email and we shall remove the material when the site is next updated. These pages are built using the Homestead SiteBuilder, Homestead Technologies, California, USA and not direct HTML. As stated above, this website, along with the format and the '4014' logo are the property of Jon Ponting. All other details, pictures, images etc. are the property of the band/venue/website concerned.

We update our information services free of charge and will happily include any relevant information. We always welcome emails from jokes to serious contributions. Please remember that anything you send to us, you'll be held responsible for. We will not print every email that is sent through to us although all comments will be greatly appreciated and considered, and we will do our best to answer any questions you may have as quickly and as efficiently as possible. Anything you send us may be used in print in future editions of The Jackdaw, as well as on any websites which make up the Jon Ponting website chain. We look forward to hearing from you.

REPORTING MISTEAKS

Although every effort is taken into providing accurate and up-to-date information, mistakes can sometimes occur. If you've found an incorrect link, false information on any of our pages, outdated details or spelling mistakes, please use this form to get in touch with us, alternatively you can send an e-mail to jon@4014.co.uk. If you have found an inaccuracy, please accept our apologies. We shall aim to correct any dud information as soon as possible. SECTIONS:

DOWNLOADS: Download service is provided by Artists First. All material available via the 4014 site is for sale with the owners consent. Payments are handled through Paypal. We cannot be held responsible for any financial irregularity that may occur because of third parties.

OPEN MIC: We always check that Open Mic venues hold the correct paperwork before we confirm a booking. The venues we use all hold Performing Rights licenses and public liability insurance. Photographs may be taken of all performers and of crowds at 4014 events for use on the web and in any other relevant media.

GIG DATES: We believe all gig dates to be correct at the time of publication but obviously things can change - sometimes at the last minute - and as we only update the site as and when we can, changes to times or venues may not appear online in time. The best place to check confirmation is through the band's official webpages or Myspace pages. Logos used on the GigDates page are the property of the relevant bands / venues.

NEWS: We believe all items featured on the news section to be correct at the time of publication but obviously things can change, and we will do our best to correct any misteaks, or clear up any confusion in the next update. Remember that there is a 12 month news archive on this service, don't get confused by old gig dates which are slited on these pages. The best place to check confirmation for any uncertain information is through the band's official webpages or Myspace pages. Logos used on the News page and it's archive section are the property of the relevant bands / venues.

BANDS: All images are the property of the respective bands. We believe all information on the listed bands to be correct. Please remember that the majority of links on this page will forward you to MySpace - an external website which we are not in control of.

FEATURES: Material and images connected with the CD are owned by their respective creators. The CD itself, it's design and layout is the property of The 4014 Project. Copying music is a serious crime which can land you with a fine and potentially a jail term. Stealing tracks of this disc means less cash goes to local charities, so don't do it. Please do not send us cash in the post. We recommend buying the CD from a vendor, or sending us a cheque. A Paypal and Ebay function will soon be available. The 4014 Radio Show is our property - the Corinium Radio logo is the property of Corinium Radio. The BBC owns the rights to Ellie's interview and holds ownership of that particular recording of her song.
